Hamilton, NY – The Hofstra Men's Golf team is in 13th place after day one of the Colgate Invitational at Seven Oaks Golf Club on Saturday.
Individually, junior
Sean Cavanaugh leads the way for the Pride as he sits in a tie for 32nd place.
Hofstra shot a combined 320 in the first round and followed that up with a 324 score in the second round. Cavanaugh shot an 80 in the opening round and improved by two strokes in the second round.
In the team standings, Youngstown State is in first place with a team score of 606. Ryan Allison of Colgate is in first overall as an individual with a score of 145 after rounds of 73 and 72.

Kenyon Kautz (t-71).
Jake Andl is competing as an individual and is in 79th place.
The Colgate Invitational will conclude on Sunday with play starting at 9 a.m.
