Becky Celorio led the Hofstra Women's Cross Country team for the fifth time this season and four Pride runners recorded personal records at the 2014 Colonial Athletic Association Cross Country Championship at Franklin Park Saturday.
Celorio posted a time of 25:05 to place 70th while freshman
Emily McLean was 73rd in 25:17 to lead Hofstra. Four other Pride freshmen recorded personal 6K records. Irene Garidas placed 74th and posted a time of 25:20 to top her previous best at the Princeton Invitational by 1:50.
Megan Tidey was 75th in 25:21 to top her previous best at Princeton by 25 seconds. Amanda Sullivan was 84th in 26:41 to top her previous best at Princeton by 39 seconds and Ria Shah was 89th in 28:55 to top her best at Lehigh by 3:01.

Lisa Eberwein placed 77th in 25:30, senior
Eva Holtermann was 80th in 25:54 and freshman
Kristen Politi was 88th in 28:55.
William & Mary placed four runners in the top 10 to capture its third straight and the program's 20th overall CAA Women's Cross Country title. The Tribe concluded the event with 35 points, while conference newcomer, Elon, had five runners place in the top 15 to finish second with 46 points. JMU and host Northeastern had 84 and 118 points, respectively, for third and fourth place. Delaware finished fifth with 121 points, followed by College of Charleston (141), Towson (195), UNCW (220) and Hofstra (285).
William and Mary redshirt junior Carolyn Hennessey won the individual title in a time of 20:45.35 to capture first-place honors and Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet recognition. NU's Lucy Young stayed with Hennessey until the very end and placed second overall (20:50.78), while JMU's Kathleen Stewart finished third (20:58.48).
Hofstra returns to action on November 14 at the NCAA Division I Northeast Region Championship at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Race time is 11:00 a.m.
