Riverhead, NY - Freshman Connell McNamara shot a 79 (+6), while sophomore's Justin Nash and Chris Davis and freshman Andrew Roberts posted scores of 82 (+9) as the Pride defeated Manhattan, 325-335, Friday at Cherry Creek Golf Links.

Freshman Harry Poster shot an 88 for the Pride, but his score was not counted in determining the team score.The dual meet was Hofstra's first of the year.

Pat Bibaud led Manhattan, scoring a 79 on the afternoon. Louis Perry carded an 82, while Chris Critelli scored an 86. Jon Wilson rounded out the scoring for the Jaspers with an 88. Anthony Demartino recorded a 90.
