MBB: ESPN New York Features Charles Jenkins

Hempstead, N.Y. - Kieran Darcy of ESPN New York featured Hofstra senior guard Charles Jenkins (Queens, N.Y.) in a story titled "Diploma, not ball, comes first for Jenkins", as he approaches two major personal milestones this weekend: 2,000 career points and his graduation day.

Jenkins, who is fourth in the country in scoring at 25.3 ppg, enters Saturday night's road game at Manhattan just five points shy of the 2,000 point plateau. He, along with fellow seniors Nathaniel Lester (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Greg Washington (Centereach, N.Y.), will then graduate at Hofstra's 2010 Midyear Commencement ceremony this Sunday at the Mack Sports Complex.
