BACKGROUND: Played volleyball, basketball and ran track for Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, Georgia…Earned all-area honors as a senior, along with scholar-athlete, perfect effort and all-tournament awards in 2015…Was named the female academic athlete of the year in Henry County…Totaled 676 assists as a senior and 539 as a junior…Team was region runner-up in 2015-16 and region champions in 2014-15.
 
PERSONAL: Has one sister…Father, Mark, boxed at the United States Air Force Academy from 1980-83…Cousin, Jonathan Whipple, played basketball at Kennesaw State from 2006-10…Enjoys reading in her spare time…Lists Bruno Mars and Alicia Keys as her favorite musicians…Named Gabby Douglas and Michael Phelps as her favorite athletes…Started playing volleyball at the age of 10…Plans to major in engineering.
