Hofstra University Athletics

Fourth season on the Hofstra Softball roster…Has been utilized primarily as a pinch-hitter during her first three seasons.

2013: Appeared in 21 games, making two starts…Totaled three hits and two RBIs…Made her first career start versus Tulsa on Feb. 15, walking three times and playing left field…Also started versus Michigan on Feb. 23… Registered a pinch-hit RBI single versus Pacific on Feb. 22… Lined a pinch-hit RBI single at Fairfield on May 1…Made a pinch-hitting appearance in a NCAA Regional game at Missouri on May 19.

2012: Appeared in 22 games as a reserve…Served as a valuable pinch hitter, driving in five runs and scoring two more…Lined three pinch hits total…Came off the bench to drive in two runs against Louisville in the season opener on Feb. 18.

2011: Appeared in seven games as a pinch-hitter, batting 2-for-7…Singled in her first home plate appearance against Columbia on March 20…Had a pinch hit single at Lehigh on April 20.

High School: Played five years of varsity softball at Baldwin High School, as well as four years of field hockey…Was a three-time all-conference selection in softball for the Bruins…Also named all-county twice and was an All-Long Island selection…Earned the Ethel K. Kloberg Academic/Athletics Award…Also an all-county selection in field hockey.

Personal: Born Feb. 5, 1992…Has one younger brother…Started playing softball at age 7…Lists Brett Gardner as her favorite athlete…Aspires to be a collegiate athletic director…Lists The Great Gatsby as her favorite book…Chose Hofstra for the combination of softball and academics…Management major.
