Biography



Fourth season on the Hofstra Softball roster…Emerged as the team’s primary leadoff hitter and designated player as a freshman and was the team’s everyday leftfielder as both a sophomore and junior.

2015: NFCA second-team All-Northeast Region pick… First-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection…Hit .372 in starting all 53 games as an outfielder…Scored 38 runs and led Hofstra with 24 multi-hit games batting exclusively from the leadoff spot…Went 3-for-4 with a run scored versus Coastal Carolina on March 7…Stole a team high 10 bases…Posted a 13-game hitting streak from March 29-April 16, posting 21 hits in that stretch… Lined multi-hit games in five consecutive contests from March 8-22…Handled all  70 chances in left and made two assists without committing an error...Hit a team-best .419 in conference play and scored 20 runs in 20 games…Lined a hit and scored two runs in the CAA Championship title clincher at James Madison on May 8…Went 2-for-3 in the NCAA Gainesville Regional opener versus Florida Atlantic on May 15… CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.

2014: NFCA first-team All-Northeast Region pick…First-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection…Named the CAA Player of the Week on April 14…Won the  CAA batting championship by hitting .370 in playing in 48 of Hofstra’s 49 games…Scored 36 runs with 57 hits and a .419 on-base percentage…Finished tied for fourth in the league in total hits and tied for fifth in runs scored…Four triples were tied for second and one behind teammate Rachael Senatore for the league lead…Led the league in stolen bases in going 19-for-19…Registered 15 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4; two-run effort versus Delaware State on April 2…Posted an 11-game hitting streak and ended the season with a four-game hitting streak…Scored two runs in a game on seven occasions, including a win over Bryant in the NCAA Norman Regional on May 17…Had at least one hit in all three NCAA Tournament games, including a 2-for-3 effort in the season-ending loss to Texas A&M on May 17 that pushed her average one point ahead of the second-closest CAA player for the batting title.

2013: NFCA second-team All-Northeast Region selection…Named to the CAA All-Rookie team…Played in 55 games, making 53 starts…The slap-hitter notched a .316 batting average with a team-leading eight stolen bases…Scored 29 runs and handled all 16 chances as a left fielder when not serving as the designated player…Batted .323 in conference play…Led Hofstra with a .455 averaging in the conference tournament, going 5-for-11 with two runs scored and a stolen base to earn a spot on the All-CAA championship team…Picked up first career hit and run scored versus Arkansas on Feb. 15…Had three hits in a game on five occasions, including three against league opponents…Reached on single to left and scored a run in Hofstra’s 2-1 CAA championship-winning game versus James Madison on May 10…Registered two multi-hit games in NCAA Regional play, picking up four total hits in seven at-bats against Oregon State and Missouri from May 17-18.

High School: Played four years of varsity softball at Huntingtown High School…Was a four-time All Southern Maryland Athletic Conference selection…Named to the Washington Post All-Metropolitan First Team as a senior and was a two-time second-team pick…As a junior, earned Louisville Slugger NFCA South Region first-team honors…Batted .556 over four seasons and finished career 84-for-85 on stolen base attempts.
