Biography

 Fifth season on the Hofstra Softball roster…Has started at shortstop the last two seasons and is expected to fill a similar role for the Pride this season.

2013: NFCA Second-Team All-Northeast Region selection…Second-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association pick…One of just four players to start all 59 games for Hofstra…Batted .297 with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs…Finished fifth in the CAA with a .581 slugging percentage…Set a career high with 12 home runs, which tied for fourth-most in the conference…Registered 11 multi-RBI games...Logged a hit in four of Hofstra’s five NCAA Regional games and scored four runs in that span…Smashed a three-run homerun into the leftfield bleachers against nationally ranked Missouri to help send Hofstra to the regional final elimination game against the Tigers on May 19…Hit three home runs in a four game stretch from March 17-23…Went 4-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored versus Marist on April 4…Posted back-to-back four-RBI games in CAA play at Drexel and versus Delaware…Produced one of the most torrid hitting streaks of Hofstra’s season when she recorded 15 RBIs in six games from April 7-16….One of two Hofstra players to finish in double figures home runs totals, trailing only Tessa Ziemba’s 14 long balls.

2012: Started all 57 games, playing mostly at shortstop…Batted .309 with a .427 on-base percentage…Tied Tessa Ziemba for the team—and CAA-lead in home runs with 11…Finished second on the team with 96 total bases and a .549 slugging percentage…Her 41 runs scored and 31 walks were the most in the CAA…One of just four Hofstra players to start every game…Batted .300 in CAA play, driving in 10 runs in just 19 games…Posted 13 multi-hit games…Recorded a 31-game reached-base streak, which was nine more than the next-closest teammate…Team was 41-4 in games in which she batted second… Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored at Delaware on April 8…Played her best career game at a crucial time, posting her first collegiate two-home run game with a 3-for-3 showing in the CAA championship game against Georgia State on May 12. She scored three runs and finished with three RBIs to help Hofstra win the title…Finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in the NCAA Regional opener at UCLA on May 18.

2011: Appeared in 14 games before being diagnosed with mononucleosis and taking a medical red-shirt…Batted .293 with four RBI…Was 3-for-4 with a double against Michigan State on March 11…Was 2-for-3 with a RBI in a win over Purdue on March 12…Was 1-for-3 in both games against Florida State and All-America pitcher Sara Hamilton at the Seminole Kickoff Classic…Had a RBI in both games on opening day, wins over UNC Greensboro and St. John’s.

2010: Played in 41 games, including 40 starts…Batted .224 with three homers and 19 RBI…Had key hits in three of the Pride’s NCAA Regional games, including the tying single in a comeback 8-6 win over No. 14 Oklahoma State in the first game of the regional, a RBI double in a 5-2 win in the rematch with the Cowgirls, and a single to start the Pride’s two-run rally against No. 3 Arizona in the 12th inning, which temporarily gave the Pride a 6-4 lead…Also had a diving catch in left field to start the regional finals, made a difficult running catch at the warning track in the third inning, and threw out a runner going to second from her knees in the first game with Oklahoma State…Had a RBI double against Towson in the first game of the CAA Tournament, which stood up as the game’s only run until the seventh before the Pride won 7-3…Was 3-for-4 with two RBI in a doubleheader sweep of Drexel in the final conference series of the regular season…Was 1-for-3 with a run scored in the CAA championship game against Georgia State…Hit a pair of home runs in a three-game series sweep of James Madison…Had an eight-game hitting streak which started against No. 5 Michigan and ended with a RBI single against Maryland…Had two RBI in her college debut against North Dakota State…Had a RBI double in a 4-1 win over South Florida…Hit her first collegiate homer at Rutgers…Hit .204 in conference games.

High School: Played four years at Elizabethtown High School in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania…Was a second-team all-state selection as a senior…One of 100 players chosen to participate in a national Adidas showcase…Batted .452 with 21 RBI as a senior, when she led the Bears to the district semis…Named to the Lancaster Lebanon League All-Stars.
