BACKGROUND: Attended Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, for two years…2007 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Co-Setter of the Year…First team All-MAAC selection…Set a school record with 1,281 assists in 2007…Also added 315 digs, 50 blocks and 31 service aces…Named team Most Valuable Player in 2007…Lettered in volleyball, basketball and track at Harlingen South High School in Harlingen, Texas…Two-time Setter and Defensive Player of the Year (2005 and 2006)…Named Valley Morning Star Female Athlete of the Year as a senior after compiling 580 assists and 228 kills…Earned Valley Morning Star All-Area and All-Valley accolades as a junior and senior…Earned Presidential Freedom Scholarship and was twice selected a Distinguished Texas Scholar…All-star in basketball and track as well…Three-year varsity captain in volleyball and basketball.
