in 18 games, making 17 starts…Posted an 8-8 record with a 2.80 ERA…Tallied 70
strikeouts in 100 innings pitched, throwing nine complete games and a shutout…Combined
with Olivia Galati on two other shutouts…Threw a shutout in her final
collegiate appearance, holding UNCW to just two hits on Senior Day on May 5…Tossed
a complete-game shutout at Rutgers on April 3.
2011:
Appeared in 26 games in the circle, including 19 starts...Had an 11-5 record,
a 2.56 ERA, and 109 strikeouts in 104 innings of work...Was a perfect 5-0 in conference
games, to improve her CAA record to 12-0 in the last two years and 14-1 in her
career...Struck out a career-high 14 batters in a win over Columbia on March 19
at the Hofstra Invitational...Also had 12 strikeouts in a one-hit shutout in the
rematch with Columbia the following day...Had 10 strikeouts in an opening-day 4-1
win over St. John's on Feb. 11 at the Seminole Kickoff Classic at Florida
State...Threw a two-hit shutout in the rematch with St. John's on Feb. 12...Had a
two-hit shutout in a win over Iona on March 29...Had a two-hitter in a win over
George Mason...CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient.
2010: First-team
All-Colonial Athletic Association...Second-team NFCA All-Northeast Region...Appeared in 28 games, including 23 starts...Had an
18-5 record, a 2.34 ERA, and 99 strikeouts in 152.1 innings of work...Was a
perfect 7-0 with a 1.58 ERA in conference games, and was 9-0 against conference
opponents including two wins in the CAA Tournament...Picked up the save with two
innings of solid relief against Oklahoma State in the first game of the NCAA
Regionals, allowing only a pair of infield singles...Allowed only four earned
runs in a combined eight innings in two starts against No. 3 Arizona in the
NCAA Regionals...Took No. 5 Michigan into extra innings tied at 2-2 before losing
a 4-3 decision on an error in the eighth, allowing only five hits in eight
innings...Shut out Kent State 1-0 in the Leadoff Classic... Also defeated Virginia
Tech on a three-hitter at the NFCA Leadoff Classic, earning her CAA Pitcher of
the Week honors...Tossed a three-hitter in an 8-1 win over James Madison in the
CAA Tournament...Threw a four-hitter in a pressure-packed 5-2 win over Georgia
State, and got the last out in the rubber game on Sunday to pick up the save,
to help clinch the regular season title for the Pride...Threw a seven-inning
one-hitter against George Mason...Shut out Marist on four hits over six
innings...Threw a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a win over Iona...Threw
a two-hitter in a win over Connecticut...Threw a three-hitter in a 2-1 win over
Rutgers...Won 12 straight decisions from March 30 until the NCAA Regionals
against Arizona on May 22, tying for the fourth-longest winning streak in
school history.
2009: Appeared
in 17 games, including 10 starts...Had a 6-6 record and a 3.79 ERA...Also had 38
strikeouts and only 12 walks in 64.2 innings of work...Took a tough-luck loss in
her college debut, allowing five hits and two runs in a 2-1 defeat to NCAA
qualifier Illinois...Allowed one hit and struck out six in relief to get her
first win in a 2-1 victory over Ball State...Allowed one earned run in 5.1
innings to defeat James Madison...Threw six innings of one-hit relief in a 4-3,
eight-inning win over Fordham...Allowed one hit in four innings to get the win
against Stony Brook...Allowed just one earned run and struck out six in her final appearance of the year
against LIU.
High School: Played four years of softball at Taunton High School in Taunton,
Massachusetts...Also played two seasons of field hockey and two seasons of
basketball...Led the Taunton softball team to the Massachusetts state
championship as a junior, when she had a 25-2 record 0.07 earned run average,
earning Player of the Year honors from the Boston Globe...Had a 23-2 record and
an 0.38 ERA as a senior, with 283 strikeouts in 167 innings pitched...Set Taunton
school records for career wins (67), strikeouts (942), no-hitters (12) and
shutouts (51)...Had a career ERA of 0.26, while allowing opponents to hit just
