Hofstra University Athletics

Fourth season on the Hofstra Softball roster…Has started at second base the last two seasons.

2013: Second-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association pick for second straight season…Started all 56 games in which she appeared…Batted .285 with 35 runs scored and a .389 on-base percentage…Stole six bases and led team with seven sacrifice bunts…Posted a 15-game on-base streak, which was the second-highest Hofstra total of the season…Hit a two-run double to account for Hofstra’s only runs in the Pride’s 2-1 CAA championship game victory over James Madison. Her hit earned her a spot on the All-CAA championship team after posting a .500 on-base percentage with three runs scored and two RBIs in Hofstra’s three conference tournament games…Logged three hits in a game on four occasions, including against Tulsa on Feb. 15…Scored three runs in five games in the NCAA Regionals.

2012: Second-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection…Started 49 of 51 games while compiling a .942 fielding percentage…Batted .275 with a .376 on-base percentage and 22 runs scored…Finished 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts…Hit a solo home run against Georgia State in the CAA Tournament on May 11 for the only offense in a 1-0 victory…Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and hit her first career home run in a win versus George Mason on April 15…Batted .359 in conference play with a .468 on-base percentage… CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient.

2011: Appeared in 13 games, including five starts as a designated player…Was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI in her first collegiate appearance against Kent State on Feb. 20…Had a sacrifice fly in a win over Purdue, while batting 1-for-3 at the plate…Was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in a win over Buffalo on March 13…Scored a run as a pinch runner in the CAA championship round against Georgia State on May 13.

High School: Played four years of softball at Dighton-Rehoboth High School in North Dighton, Massachusetts…Helped the Falcons to an SCC championship…Was a conference all-star for two years…A Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection in 2009…Also played two years of soccer and ran on the track team for two years.

Personal: Born Feb. 1, 1992…Has one younger brother…Started playing softball at age 5…Graduated with high honors from Dighton-Rehoboth…Played summer ball with the Rhode Island Thunder Gold...Marketing major.
