Before Hofstra:

Four-year varsity defenseman at Heritage High School in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Three-time First Team All-Conference selection.
Earned All-Region Honorable Mention and ECD All-American honors during his junior season.

Recorded 192 ground balls, 71 takeaways and six goals during his varsity career.
