2023: Primary catcher who made 37 starts in the 46 games he appeared in, hitting .264 with eight doubles, four home runs and 24 RBIs while drawing 25 walks...Hit by 14 pitches, while adding a sacrifice hit and a sacrifice fly to total a .432 on-base percentage and .419 slugging percentage...In NEC play, hit .313 with six doubles, four home runs and 18 RBIs, tallying a team-high .998 OPS with a .530 slugging percentage and .468 on-base percentage...Finished with seven multi-hit games and six games with multiple RBIs...Homered and drove in two against Wagner on March 13...Slugged another home run in opener at Merrimack and drove in two on March 17...Went 3-4 with two runs, two RBIs, a home run and a walk in the opener at CCSU on April 21...Drove in three runs with two hits and a double in game one at Delaware State on May 14...Tallied three hits, four runs, two RBIs, a double, and a home run with two walks in final two games against Norfolk State (May 19-20)...2022: First Team All-MEAC selection at catcher…Appeared in 44 games and made 34 starts, primarily at catcher, but also saw time at first base and designated hitter…Hit .269 with a home run and 18 runs batted in…Also scored 30 runs to go with seven doubles, a triple, and drew 23 walks…Hit by a team-high 14 pitches to accumulate a .458 on-base percentage…Tallied seven multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games…Drove in a run with a single and a walk at California Baptist (Feb. 20)…Collected four hits, four runs, a pair of RBIs, and two doubles in series against Saint Peter’s (Feb. 25)…Went 2-2 with a run and a walk in finale against Cornell (March 6)...Drove in three runs while going 2-for-3 with two runs and a double in MEAC Championship Game against the Hornets (May 21)…Scored a run and drew a pair of walks in NCAA Regional against Coastal Carolina (June 4)...All-MEAC Academic Team selection...2021: Made 10 appearances with five starts behind the plate...Double in 15 at-bats and had a sacrifice hit…Also made a pair of appearances with one start on the mound, where he went 0-1 with a 2.25 ERA in four innings…Doubled at George Washington…Retired the side in order in his pitching debut in relief at The Citadel…Allowed just one earned run on one hit in three innings during start at UNC Asheville...All-MEAC Academic Team selection...Named team's Most Improved Player.

High School: Played baseball and soccer at Archbishop Molloy High School...Batted .386 as a junior and was the team Most Valuable Player as a sophomore...Soccer team MVP as a senior.

Personal: Son of Barbara and Eric Dorcean...Has two brothers...Brother, Nick, played collegiate baseball at Old Westbury and Saint Michael's, and played professionally in Trinidad...Names Ken Griffey Junior as his favorite athlete and J. Cole as his favorite musician...Plans on pursuing a career in healthcare...Participated in the Minority Baseball Prospect All-Star Game and in the inaugural HBCU Classic...Community health major.
