Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's soccer team will host Northeastern Monday, September 28 at 5 p.m. at Captains Field. The game is rescheduled from its original date of September 26 due to the storm forecasted for Long Island over the weekend.

The Pride enters the CAA clash with a record of 6-1-2 overall and 1-0-2 in league play. Hofstra is on a two-game winning streak following 2-0 victories over Binghamton and Loyola Maryland. Jordan Hoey and Patrick Staszewski scored versus the Bearcats, while Ben Schulz had both goals in the win at Loyola. Milo Risenhoover picked up the wins in goal in both contests. 

Northeastern is 4-2-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the CAA. The Huskies are coming off a 1-0 win over Monmouth and have won two consecutive games. Kortay Koc leads the Huskies in scoring with five goals and three assists. Tate Daux had three goals and six assists, while Will Schmidt has four goals and two assists. Brady Elmblad has played every minute in goal and has a 1.38 goals against average and 42 saves. 

Hofstra is 16-14-3 all-time versus the Huskies. The Pride swept the season series last season, winning 3-1 on the road and 2-1 at home. The Pride have won four consecutive games in the series. 

Following Monday's game, Hofstra returns to action when it hosts Stony Brook on October 3 at 7 p.m.
