Pride Record Personal Best Performances At Alex Masai Invitational

Uniondale, NY - The Hofstra men's outdoor track and field team recorded personal best performances at the Alex Masai Invitational at Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, New York, on Friday morning. 

Alex Walsh led the Pride in the 5000m with his 15:41.35 personal best time, while Jamie Cartnal finished second with a time of 16:21.55. Matthew Laudicina competed in the 800m and earned a first place finish and personal best time of 1:57.71.

Steiger Devil led six Pride competitors in the 100m dash with his 11.37 time, while Arnario Briggs-Garcia was second at 11.70. Cade Jaipaul finished third at 12.71, Danny Haddad was fourth at 14.74, Evan Papadopoulos was fifth at 15.29, and Zach Daudelin finished sixth with a time of 15.68. The men's 4x400m relay team of Briggs-Garcia, Laudicina, Devil, and Sameer Grewal finished with a 3:31.71 time.

The Hofstra men return to action on Saturday, May 2, for Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, New Jersey.
