Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra softball team officially returns home to Bill Edwards Stadium for one of its biggest series of the 2026 regular season, as the Pride hosts Campbell in a three-game set beginning on Friday, April 10, between the leaders of the CAA North and South Divisions.
First pitch on Friday will be 5 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, and Sunday's game will begin at 12 p.m. Hofstra will officially dedicate the reopening of Bill Edwards Stadium with a pregame ribbon cutting ceremony and ceremonial first pitch prior to Sunday's contest.

Hofstra enters its series against Campbell 21-16 overall following a 2-0 defeat to St. John's on Tuesday, but the Pride leads the CAA North Division with a 14-1 mark after sweeping Towson this past weekend.
Lily Yepez leads the team with a .443 batting average, while
Alanna Morse paces the Pride with career-highs of 48 hits, eight home runs, and 31 RBIs. In the circle,

Madison Steppe have been an effective one-two punch for the Pride, each winning nine games while combining for 157 strikeouts.
Campbell enters the weekend series 23-16 overall after a 1-0 loss against Coastal Carolina on Tuesday and 10-2 in the CAA following a series sweep of North Carolina A&T. Charlie Montgomery leads the Fighting Camels with 58 hits and a .436 batting average, and Katelyn Hubley leads the CAA with 12 wins from the circle.
Hofstra is 2-2 all-time against Campbell, but Hofstra took two games from a three-game series against Campbell down in Buies Creek, North Carolina last season.
