Hastings-on-Hudson, NY - Mariana Rodriguez led the Hofstra women's golf team to tie for 14th place individually at the St. John's Invitational from Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York on Tuesday afternoon. As a team, Hofstra finished in eighth place out of the 12-team field with a two-round score of 673 (+105). 

Rodriguez finished tied for 14th place out of the 71-competitor field at 160 (+18) following a final round 79 (+8). Regina Cantu Chavez concluded the St. John's Invitational tied for 31st place at 166 (+24), while Sadie Anderson tied for 46th at 173 (+31). Kaylie Porter tied for 48th place at 174 (+32), Natalie Moody tied for 54th at 176 (+34) and Victoria Minicucci came in 67th place at 210 (+68). 

St. John's took the team title at 630 (+62), with Fairfield, Quinnipiac, Bryant and Merrimack rounding out the top-five teams. Three golfers tied for first place at 154 (+12), including Fairfield's Katelynn Waclawski, Quinnipiac's Natalie Spiska and Lily Huynh of St. John's. 

The Hofstra women's golf team close out their 2026 spring campaign at the Coastal Athletic Association Championship beginning on Friday, April 17 from The Clubs at St. James Reserve in Southport, North Carolina.
