Southport, NC - The Hofstra women's golf team shot a second round 329 (+41) on Saturday from The Clubs at St. James in Southport, North Carolina. The Pride is ninth at 678 (+102) after the first two rounds of the CAA Women's Golf Championship.
Regina Cantu Chavez shot a second round 74 (+2) to sit in the lead for Hofstra tied for 21st place at 157 (+13).
Mariana Rodriguez is 37th at 168 (+24), while
Kaylie Porter is tied for 40th at 174 (+30).
Sadie Anderson is in 42nd place at 179 (+35) and
Natalie Moody is 44th at 205 (+61) heading into championship Sunday.
The Seahawks lead the nine team pack at 583 (+7) and Minouche Rooijmans from UNCW is in first place at 141 (-3).
The third and final round of the CAA Women's Golf Championship gets underway Sunday morning at 8 a.m. from The Clubs at St. James.
