Hastings-on-Hudson, NY - Regina Cantu Chavez sits tied for sixth place heading into the second round of the St. John's Invitational to lead the Hofstra women's golf team. As a team, the Pride are in fifth place at 331 (+47), while Fairfield is first after one round from Saint Andrew's Golf Club at 317 (+33).

Cantu Chavez shot a first round 79 (+8) to tie for sixth, while Mariana Rodriguez is tied for 12th out of the 71-player field at 81 (+10). Kaylie Porter shot a first round 85 (+14) to tie for 35th. Natalie Moody and Sadie Anderson are tied for 39th at 86 (+15) and Victoria Minicucci is 70th at 107 (+36) heading into the second round. 

The final round of the St. John's Invitational gets underway at 9:30 a.m. from Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, on Tuesday, April 7.
