Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will close the regular season on Tuesday when it hosts Drexel from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. The game is being presented by Northwell Health and it will be the Hofstra School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies Appreciation Night.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the Pride will celebrate "Senior Day" prior to the contest (at approximately 6:40 p.m.).

There will be a Kate Pride bobblehead giveaway to the first 750 fans at Tuesday's game.

Hofstra improved to 20-10 overall and 11-6 in CAA play with a stellar defensive effort on Saturday as the Pride clamped down for a 67-58 win over Stony Brook behind 17 points and 10 rebounds from
Biggie Patterson.
German Plotnikov added 15 points and seven rebounds, while
Preston Edmead chipped in with 14 points. Hofstra has won three straight and seven of its last eight games heading into Tuesday.
Drexel is 16-14 and 10-7 in the league as they approach the regular season finale. The Dragons were last in action on Thursday when they defeated Campbell, 65-60, at home. Shane Blakeney had 22 points and six rebounds, while Victor Panov added 13 points and Garfield Turner contributed 12 points.
Hofstra is 52-49 all-time against Drexel and the Pride has won six of the last eight and 14 of the last 17 meetings between the teams. The series is Hofstra's longest active opponent and second-most played opponent all-time, only bested by Delaware (105). The series began during the 1958-59 campaign. The Pride won this season's earlier meeting, 70-67, in Philadelphia back on January 3 behind 20 points, six rebounds, and five assists from
Cruz Davis.
