2/9/2026 2:00:00 PM

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse will open its home schedule on Wednesday when the Pride hosts Manhattan. Due to weather and construction delays, the game will be played at Captains Field on Hofstra's north campus.

Admission will be free of charge.

The game will air on FloCollege and WRHU will have an audio-only broadcast available on 88.7 FM. Links to the broadcasts, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the women's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra dropped its season opener to Siena, 10-6, this past Friday. Kayleigh Bender had a team-best four points on a goal and three assists, while Nikki Mennella added a team-high two goals. Evin Terzioglu contributed three ground balls and five caused turnovers in the contest.

Manhattan fell in its first game of the season, 13-6, at UMass Lowell on Friday. Julia Kerr had three goals for the Jaspers, while Ella brunette scored twice.

Hofstra is 3-0 all-time against Manhattan. The Pride won, 18-5, a season ago. That marked the first meeting between the teams since 1998.
