Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will return home to the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex on Thursday when it hosts Charleston. The game is being presented by Optimum.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

There will be free pickleball paddles, courtesy of Optimum, for the first 500 fans in attendance on Thursday! In addition, there will be a postgame autograph session with the team.

Hofstra enters Thursday's game with a 13-8 overall record and a CAA mark of 4-4. The Pride most recently dropped an 89-82 road decision to William & Mary on Saturday.
Preston Edmead led the Pride with 18 points, while
Biggie Patterson added 16,
Cruz Davis chipped in with 14, and
Joshua DeCady tallied 12.
Charleston is 13-8 as well and 6-2 in the league. The Cougars earned an 80-70 win over Elon this last Saturday. Christian Reeves had 29 points and 18 rebounds for Charleston, while Colby Duggan added 17 points.
Thursday will be the 22nd all-time meeting between Hofstra and Charleston. The series has been very close with the Cougars leading, 11-10. The series began during the 2013-14 season. Charleston has won three straight games in the series but prior to that, Hofstra had won four out of five.
