Edmead Leads Four in Double Figures in Loss at William & Mary

Williamsburg, VA - Preston Edmead had 18 points to lead four players in double figures, but the Hofstra men's basketball team could not overcome William & Mary's hot shooting as the Pride dropped an 89-82 decision to the Tribe on Saturday afternoon at Kaplan Arena.

Edmead was joined in double figures by Biggie Patterson (16), Cruz Davis (14), and Joshua DeCady (12).

Hofstra slipped to 13-8 and 4-4 in league play with the loss, while William & Mary improved to 14-6 and 5-3 in CAA action.

The two teams combined for 31 three-pointers, but it was the Tribe's 18 that made the difference in the seven-point contest.

Victory Onuetu pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds to go along with eight points. Joshua Aaron Reaves had a strong game off the bench with nine points and six rebounds.

Kilian Brockhoff had 28 points, including eight three-pointers for William & Mary. Reese Miller added 17 for the Tribe.

Hofstra is back in action on Thursday when it hosts Charleston at 7 p.m. For ticket information visit HofstraTickets.com.
