Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will host Elon on Saturday afternoon in a nationally-televised contest. The game is being presented by Ridgewood Savings Bank.
Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 12 p.m.

The first 500 fans in attendance at the game will receive a free Hofstra Pride mini hoop and basketball. There will also be a postgame autograph session with members of the team.

Hofstra heads into Saturday's tilt with a 13-5 overall record and a 4-1 CAA mark. The Pride dropped a 76-71 decision at Stony Brook on Thursday despite 22 points and eight rebounds from
Preston Edmead.
Cruz Davis added 16 points, all in the second half, and reached 1,000 career points in the contest.
Elon is 11-7 and 3-2 in the league after dropping an 85-78 contest at Northeastern on Thursday. Bryson Cokley had 26 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists for the Phoenix, while Chandler Cuthrell added 19 points and five rebounds.
Saturday is the 20th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Elon in men's basketball. The Pride leads the series, 14-5, and has won the last three encounters including a 74-63 win in North Carolina last season. In addition to having won three straight, the Pride has also won four of the last five, and nine of the last 11 meetings.
