Goddard's Big Week Nets Him CAA Weekly Honor

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University senior forward Laurie Goddard was named CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week following his leading role in a 2-0 week for the Pride. Goddard scored three goals over the two games and had both game-winning tallies. He shared the award with Osei Gyamfi of UNCW

In Hofstra's 1-0 victory over Princeton, Goddard scored on a penalty kick to account for the lone goal of the evening. Then, in a CAA victory over Stony Brook, Goddard recorded his second brace in three games. Goddard opened the scoring with his NCAA-leading fourth penalty kick goal and then added the second goal of the game. 

On the season, Goddard leads the Pride with six goals and one assist for 13 points. He leads the CAA in goals and points, and ranks third and seventh, respectively, in the NCAA. 

Hofstra plays at defending National Champion Vermont Tuesday evening (6 p.m.).
