Luci Hollister has been named the Rookie of the Week by the Coastal Athletic Association, in a release by the conference office Monday afternoon.
A goalkeeper from Auckland, New Zealand, Hollister was named the CAA Rookie of the Week after going 1-1 with 18 saves, a .857 save percentage, and a 1.45 goals-against average. Hollister registered a personal-best 11 saves in 57 minutes between the posts in Hofstra's 2-1 loss to Yale on Friday, and she followed this up on Sunday with seven saves in a 2-1 overtime win over Villanova. Hollister was previously named the CAA Rookie of the Week on September 1.
Hollister and the Pride are back in action on Sunday, September 21, versus UC Davis at noon from Cindy Lewis Stadium.
