Hofstra Returns Home Thursday To Face FDU

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's soccer team returns from a two-game road trip Thursday to host FDU in a non-conference matchup. Kickoff at Captains Field is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege with live statistics also available.

The Pride enters the night with a 3-1 record and will look to rebound from their first loss of the season, a 4-0 setback at Yale this past Sunday. The Knights of FDU come to Hempstead with an 0-2 record following a 2-1 loss at Bucknell. 

Hofstra is 11-0-1 all-time against FDU and has won nine consecutive games in the series. The teams met at Captains Field last season with the Pride posting a 3-0 victory.

Following Thursday night's game, Hofstra will be idle until hosting Loyola Maryland on Sept. 6 at 1 p.m.
