Atlanta, GA – The Hofstra women's basketball team was honored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as one of 119 Division I, II, and III, and NAIA programs to be recognized on the 2024-25 WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II, and III, NAIA, and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
With a combined grade-point average of 3.366 for the 2024-25 academic year, the Pride earned a spot in the special mention for finishing outside the top 25 but still earning academic recognition for earning a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Hofstra is one of five Coastal Athletic Association programs to make an appearance on the WBCA academic list, joining Campbell, Drexel, Elon, and Monmouth.
