Hempstead, NY - Five members of the 2024-25 Hofstra men's basketball team - Cruz Davis, Khalil Farmer, Michael Graham, Eric Parnell, and German Plotnikov - were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches 2024-25 Honors Court, recognizing those men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

In addition, the program earned the Team Academic Excellence Award. 

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. To earn this distinction, a student-athlete must be at least a junior or senior, have a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and be at their current institution for at least one year.
