Hempstead, NY - The defending Coastal Athletic Association champion Hofstra men's basketball program announced its full 2026-27 schedule today, with a challenging non-conference slate, several marquee home events, and a full CAA schedule highlighting the upcoming campaign.

Season tickets for the 2026-27 season will go on sale next week at new and improved HofstraTickets.com.

Hofstra will officially open the season at home on Monday, November 2, when the Pride hosts St. Joseph's (LI) as part of the program's Class at the Court event. The special day will bring elementary and middle school students to the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex for educational programming and interactive activities before watching the Pride in action. Tickets for participating students are only $5.

Following a road contest at Princeton on November 5, Hofstra will make the first of two trips out west when it visits Arizona State on November 10.

The Pride returns home on Friday, November 13 against Iona, when Hofstra will celebrate its 2025-26 CAA championship with the home crowd.

Hofstra's ambitious non-conference schedule will also feature several high-profile road and neutral-site tests. In addition to the trip to Arizona State, the Pride will face Murray State on November 21 at the Landers Center in Mississippi in a marquee mid-major matchup. Hofstra will travel west again to face Saint Mary's on December 1 before visiting LSU on December 5.

Another highlight of the home schedule comes Thanksgiving weekend as Hofstra hosts The Island Invitational from November 27-29. The event will mark the program's first in-season home tournament since 2002 and will feature Hofstra, Colgate, Merrimack and Vermont. 

The Pride will face Colgate on Friday, November 27, Merrimack on Saturday, November 28, and Vermont on Sunday, November 29. The tournament will feature six games over three days at the Mack Sports Complex.

The remainder of Hofstra's non-conference slate includes road contests at Columbia and Quinnipiac, along with home games against Bucknell and Molloy.

Hofstra will begin defense of its CAA title with the Long Island rivalry as the Pride welcomes Stony Brook to Hempstead on Saturday, January 2.

The CAA home schedule also features William & Mary, Drexel, Northeastern, UNCW, North Carolina A&T, Towson, Charleston and Monmouth. The Pride will travel to Towson, Elon, Hampton, Campbell, Charleston, Northeastern, Monmouth, Stony Brook and Drexel during conference play.

The regular season concludes on Tuesday, March 2, when Hofstra hosts Monmouth at 7 p.m.

The 2027 CAA Men's Basketball Championship will take place March 5-9 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
