Hempstead, NY – Hofstra women's basketball alumnae
Zyheima Swint begins her professional career as she has recently signed a contract with BEAC Újbuda of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A, the top professional league for women's basketball in Hungary.
"I chose BEAC because I feel like this is the place where I can grow, not only as a player, but also as a person," Swint said in a release by the team. "From everything I've seen of them, it's clear that they value the team, the effort put in, the individual, and all of that resonates very much with what I represent. I look forward to building new and meaningful relationships this season, facing the challenges that await me, and doing everything I can to help our team succeed. I'm very excited about the time ahead."
