Abraham Longosiwa competed for the Pride in the men's 10,000m race at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East First Round on the campus of the University of North Florida. The 10,000m race was slated for a 9:10 p.m. shotgun start Wednesday night, but was pushed back to 12:55 a.m. Thursday due to a lengthy weather delay.
Longosiwa concluded his junior season with a 36th place finish at 30:11.17 in the 10,000m race. The Kenyan distance runner had an outstanding outdoor season earning multiple Coastal Athletic Association Championship titles, breaking his own meet record in the CAA 10,000m race, setting a personal best time of 28:44 to qualify for the NCAA East Regional, and earning the CAA Championship Most Outstanding Track Performer honor. In his career, Longosiwa has earned a total of three NCAA qualifications and eight All-CAA accolades, the latter being the most in Hofstra Athletics history.
