CAA Men's Golf Championship Begins Sunday

Hempstead, NY - The Coastal Athletic Association Men's Golf Championship gets underway Sunday at Union League National Golf Club in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, on Sunday, April 20. Ten schools are competing for team and individual titles on the par-72, 7,274-yard course with starts for the three rounds on Sunday and Monday at 8:30 a.m. and Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Representing Hofstra at the championship will be Joseph Giamanco, Jacob Vazquez, Eugene Kang, Gavin Clarke, Charlie Ferrise and Vincent Apostolico as the alternate. Vazquez has been Hofstra's top scorer with an average of 74.58 strokes per round. Kang (75.24), Clarke (76.33), and Ferrise (77.05), are second, third and fourth, respectively, in scoring. Giamanco averages just over 77 strokes (77.52) per round, while Apostolico is at 78.00 strokes per round.
