Cape May Court House, NJ - The Hofstra men's golf team placed 11th in the 11-team field at the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Championship from Union League National Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Pride finished the 54-hole tournament at 964 (+100).
Jacob Vazquez was Hofstra's top finisher, tying for 40th place at 239 (+23).
Gavin Clarke shot a low round 78 (+6) on Tuesday to finish in 44th-place at 240 (+24).
Eugene Kang was 45th at 241 (+25), following a final round 81 (+9), while
Joseph Giamanco finished in 47th place at 249 (+33).
Vincent Apostolico entered the lineup for the Pride, in place of
Charlie Ferrise, and shot an 83 (+17) in the final round of the championship.
Campbell's Henric Bjelke remained the individual leader throughout all three days of competition and finished first at 210 (-6). Elon took home its first CAA Championship title following a sudden-death playoff against Drexel when both teams tied at 877 (+13). It was the Phoenix's first Division I conference championship title and first since 1994.Â
