Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse program and The Athlete Amplifier are proud to announce a landmark, full-team Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement.

As part of this NIL deal, all 46 members of the team will receive financial compensation from The Athlete Amplifier and will work with Quantum Financial Advisors to open a new investment account through Charles Schwab & Co. The intent of the NIL agreement is to advance financial literacy among the team's student-athletes. 

"We are so fortunate to work with The Athlete Amplifier and Quantum Financial Advisors on this game-changing NIL deal," said Hofstra Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Seth Tierney. "It was incredibly important to our program that every student-athlete was treated equally and received the same opportunity."

Joe Rinaldi, Hofstra Class of 1981 and founder of Athlete Amplifier Foundation said, "We are honored to have entered into this groundbreaking team NIL deal with the Hofstra Men's Lacrosse Program. Through this program, we hope to not only support team recruiting and retention, but to also provide the opportunity for these student-athletes to grow in financial literacy, obtain meaningful real-world money management/investment experience, and have access to internship opportunities that earn University credits and that will assist them in achieving success in life beyond Hofstra and the lacrosse field."

Beyond the financial compensation of the NIL deal, the team will have the opportunity to receive additional funding via an investment competition among its members.
