Hofstra Drops Series Finale At No. 23 Kentucky

Lexington, KY - Ethan Hindle's grand slam home run in the fourth inning gave No. 23 Kentucky a 7-1 lead as the Wildcats completed a three-game sweep of the Pride with a 9-1 victory Sunday at Kentucky Proud Park.

Kentucky improved to 9-1 on the season and stretched its winning streak to eight games. Hofstra dipped to 3-7 on the season.

After Kentucky got a run in the first, the Pride responded in the third. Michael Brown led off with a single and was moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from Dylan Palmer. Tyler Castrataro then tied the score with a double down the left field line.
