Infuso, Baker Ink Pro Contracts

Hempstead, NY - Two recent Hofstra University men's soccer graduates - Pierce Infuso and Teddy Baker - have taken the next step in their soccer careers by signing professional contracts. Infuso has joined NYCFC II, part of the MLS Next Pro League, while Baker signed a deal with Texoma FC in USL League One.

"So proud of Pierce and Teddy," said Hofstra Head Coach Richard Nuttall. "Both have worked extremely hard to get to this point in their careers and deserve everything that comes to them. I look forward to following their journey."

Infuso (Merrick, NY), a defender, was a 2023 All-American, a three-time All-Atlantic Region selection, and a three-time All-CAA pick during his storied career. He played in a program record 96 career games with 94 starts, also a program-best. Infuso tallied four goals and eight assists during his tenure. His five assists in 2024 tied for the team lead. Infuso also excelled off the field as a two-time United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American and a 2024 College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American.

Baker (Bawdsey, England) was an All-Atlantic Region selection this past season after recording six goals and five assists for 17 points in 17 games. A Third Team All-CAA pick, Baker was also named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America team. During his two seasons at Hofstra, Baker recorded 10 goals and eight assists in 39 games. 

Hofstra was 14-5-2 in 2024, winning the CAA Championship for the fourth consecutive season and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Championship.
