Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will make its final-ever visit to Newark, Delaware as a conference rival on Saturday when the Pride battles Delaware in the final regular season meeting between the schools as CAA rivals. Delaware, Hofstra's most-played opponent of all-time, is leaving the CAA after this season to join Conference USA.
Tip-off from the Bob Carpenter Center is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Hofstra is 12-16 overall and 4-11 in the CAA after dropping a 68-62 decision to Monmouth on Thursday.
German Plotnikov tallied a season-high 19 points in the game, while
Silas Sunday chipped in with 11 on perfect 5-5 shooting from the field.
Delaware is 12-16 and 5-10 in conference action following a 78-74 loss to Drexel on Thursday. Niels Lane led the Blue Hens with 18 points, while Izaiah Pasha tallied 14 points and nine rebounds.
Hofstra and Delaware have met 104 times on the hardwood. The Pride leads the all-time series with Delaware, 70-34. Hofstra has won nine straight, 16 of the last 18, and 22 of the 25 meetings dating back to the 2014-15 season. The 104 meetings is first by a narrow margin as Hofstra and Drexel met for the 100th time back in January.
