Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University men's soccer midfielder Laurie Goddard added to his awards case as he was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-ECAC performer by the organization. Earlier this week, Goddard earned United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Team accolades. In addition to Goddard, senior forward Daniel Burko was named to the All-ECAC Second Team.

Goddard, the CAA Player and Midfielder of the Year, turned in a brilliant 2025 campaign. The senior from London, England, posted career-highs across the board with 15 goals, 7 assists, and 37 points. He led the Pride and the CAA in goals and points, and was second on the team in assists. Goddard, a First Team All-CAA pick, ranks sixth in the nation in goals and points, and his eight game-winning goals lead the nation. The all-region nod is the second of Goddard's career after earning second team accolades last season.

Burko also turned in a huge offensive year in his first season at Hofstra. The Lovenstad, Norway native tallied 13 goals, 5 assists, and 31 points, and ranked second on the team and the CAA in goals and points. Burko's 31 points rank 11th in the nation, while his 13 goals are 12th. He was a First Team All-CAA selection.

The ECAC is a nearly 90-year old organization with well over 200 members schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III - that exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics, and provide great value for universities and colleges, by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. Most of the ECAC's members also belong to another conference, which is often the school's primary conference.

Hofstra posted a 14-5-1 record in 2025, earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship where it advanced to the third round.
