Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team will host its second consecutive home game on Saturday, November 22, when Bucknell visits the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. against the Bison. The game will air on FloCollege, and WRHU will carry an audio-only broadcast on the HAWC. These links, as well as a live statistics link, are available on this page and the women's basketball schedule page on GoHofstra.com.
Hofstra suffered a 67-55 defeat to Penn on Saturday in the Pride's home opener.
Ayen Angoi finished the game with a career-high 12 points versus the Quakers, while
Emma Von Essen posted 11 points and
Alarice Gooden finished with 10. Von Essen sunk three three-pointers against Penn, moving her into sole possession of third in the program record books for the most threes in a career with 211.
Bucknell dropped to 1-3 on the season with a 60-53 defeat to Youngstown State this past Sunday. Reese Zemits leads the Bison in scoring with 10.0 points per game, and Tuana Coskun is the leading rebounder with 4.8 boards per contest.
Hofstra leads the all-time series with a 14-6 record, including last season's 76-71 overtime win over the Bison in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Sunday will be the first meeting between the two programs in Hempstead since December 3, 1999.
