Annapolis, MD - Hofstra concluded play at the Navy Fall Invitational on Sunday from the United States Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland. The Pride shot a second round 337 (+49) to finish in 13th place at 671 (+95) out of 15 teams.
Regina Cantu Chavez was Hofstra's top finisher, placing in a tie for 55th at 165 (+21), following a second round 81 (+9).
Mari Rodriguez shot a second round 84 (+12) to place 60th out of the 81-player field at 167 (+23).
Natalie Moody finished tied for 63rd place at 170 (+26) with a second round 86 (+14).
Kaylie Porter tied for 68th at 175 (+31), while
Sadie Anderson came in 71st place at 177 (+33).
Paris Fieldings of Howard won the individual championship with a 143 (-1). Stetson was the team champion with a 597 (+21), while Bucknell, Howard, Navy and Monmouth rounded out the top-five.
Hofstra returns to action October 12 for the first day of the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational from Normanside Country Club in Delmar, New York.
