Rodriguez and Porter Lead Pride Through First Round of Navy Fall Invitational

Annapolis, MD - Mari Rodriguez and Kaylie Porter sit tied for 48th place to lead Hofstra after the first 18-holes of the Navy Fall Invitational. As a team, the Pride are tied for 11th-place with Queens-Charlotte at 334 (+46).

Rodriguez and Porter shot a first round 83 (+11) to tie for 48th out of the 81-player field, while Regina Cantu Chavez and Natalie Moody are tied for 52nd-place at 84 (+12). Sadie Anderson is tied for 68th at 91 (+19) heading into the final 18-holes on Sunday.

Stetson leads the 15-team field at 304 (+15) with Bucknell in a close second at 306 (+18). Individually, Howard's Paris Fieldings sits in first following the first day of play at 72 (E). 

The final day of the 36-hole Navy Fall Invitational gets underway at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning from the United States Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland.
