Isabella Spagnoli led the Hofstra women's cross country team to a seventh place team finish on Friday morning at the Coastal Athletic Association Championship at Ocean County Park in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Spagnoli finished with a time of 21:01.40 to place fifth and earn All-CAA accolades for her performance.
Elon took the championship title with 28 points, while the Pride came in seventh with 214 points. Elon's Katie Blount was the individual champion with a time of 19:55.00.
Isabella Gerena finished in 22:23.00 to place 48th and
Allison Reid came in 55th at 22:30.80.
Avery Brawner was 81st at 23:19.30,
Hannah Donzella in 87th at 23:37.10,
Sophia Briggs in 93rd at 23:48.40,
Macy Neider in 95th at 23:56.80, and
Natalie Campisi in 96th at 23:58.40.
Brielle Isernia finished the 6K race with a time of 24:20.00 to place 100th, while
Tori Bien came in 101st at 24:20.10.
Samantha Szabo was 109th at 25:21.10 and
Melanie Bogen finished with a time of 25:40.40 to place 112th.
Hofstra is back in action on Friday, November 14 for the NCAA Northeast Regional from Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Contoocook, New Hampshire.
