Hempstead, NY - The Coastal Athletic Association announced its postseason awards for women's soccer today on the eve of the CAA Championship and three members of the Pride - Gabriella Marte, Olivia Pearse, and Aimee Hodgson - were lauded for their play during the 2025 campaign.

Marte, a graduate defender, was named to the All-CAA Second Team after tallying a team and career-high four assists during the regular season. The Middletown, Delaware native, who was a Third Team All-CAA pick last season, started all 17 games and played 1,488 minutes out of a possible 1,530. In addition to her offensive contributions, Marte helped lead a defensive unit that allowed just over one goal per game.

Pearse also earned a spot on the All-CAA Second Team, her first postseason accolade. A graduate defender, the Seaford, New York native shined on both sides of the field as she is tied for the team lead in goals with four. The four goals are a career-high for Pearse, who also was a key contributor on the defensive end. A starter in all 17 games, Pearse was also rarely off the field as she played 1,492 out of a possible 1,530 minutes.

Hodgson earned the second All-CAA Third Team selection of her career (2023) after recording three assists from her midfield position. A senior from Carnforth, England, Hodgson matched her career-high in helpers while also contributing to the Pride's defensive efforts. A starter in all 17 games, Hodgson was the team leader in minutes played with 1,508 out of a possible 1,530.

Hofstra will be back in action Thursday night at Stony Brook in a CAA Quarterfinals matchup. Kickoff at LaValle Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
