Hofstra Announces Winter MSG Networks Broadcast Schedule; Unveils Broadcast Crews for Basketball

10/29/2025 1:00:00 PM

Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra University Department of Athletics and MSG Networks proudly announced today the winter broadcast schedule for Hofstra's men's and women's basketball and wrestling teams. In addition, the department is excited to announce the addition of a pair of broadcasters.

Zendon Hamilton will serve as the analyst on men's basketball broadcasts this season on FloCollege and MSG Networks, while Gabby Sartori will serve as the analyst on women's basketball broadcasts this season. They will be joined by longtime Hofstra play-by-play broadcaster Dan Savarino.

Building on their introductions, Hamilton and Sartori bring a wealth of experience and perspective to the Hofstra broadcast team. A Floral Park native and Sewanhaka High School standout, Hamilton went on to star at St. John's University before an eight-year NBA career and an extensive professional tenure overseas including coaching for 11 years. He is returning home to share his deep knowledge of the game and local roots on the men's broadcasts. Sartori, a Brown University graduate and former women's lacrosse student-athlete with the Bears, brings a strong background in on-camera and journalism experience to the women's broadcasts. She has previously done on-air work for the American Athletic Conference and East Carolina University on ESPN+ and has extensive additional experience in the field.

"We are very excited for Hofstra Athletics to be on MSG Networks once again this winter," said Hofstra Vice President and Director of Athletics Rick Cole Jr. "This is a tremendous opportunity for our basketball and wrestling programs to reach a broad audience across the country and raise the profile of our University. In addition, this partnership with MSG Networks gives us more chances to showcase the outstanding work being done by our production team from the Tony Cavallaro Control Room at The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication."

"We are proud to partner with Hofstra University again to present terrific local men's and women's college basketball and wrestling on MSG Networks," said Armando Polanco, Vice President of Content Distribution, Affiliate Partnerships & Business Development at MSG Networks.  "MSG Networks is the home for local New York area sports and we look forward to showcasing Hofstra athletics this winter."
