Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will begin a two-game road trip to the "Tar Heel State" on Thursday when the Pride faces Elon.
Tip-off from the Schar Center is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Hofstra is 11-10 overall and 3-5 in CAA play following a narrow 69-67 overtime loss to Campell this past Saturday.
Michael Graham was tremendous with 12 points and 21 rebounds in the contest, while
Jean Aranguren added a team-high 14 points and
Cruz Davis chipped in with 13 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
Elon heads into Thursday's meeting with a 14-7 record overall and a 5-3 conference mark. The Phoenix dropped a 76-62 decision at home to Charleston on Saturday. TK Simpkins led Elon with 20 points in the game.
Thursday is the 19th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Elon in men's basketball. The Pride leads the series, 13-5, and has won the last two encounters including an 87-64 win in Hempstead last season. In addition to having won two straight, the Pride has also won three of the last four and eight of the last 10 meetings.
