Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will host Delaware on Thursday in the final meeting at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex as conference rivals. Delaware, Hofstra's most-played opponent of all-time, is leaving the CAA after this season to join Conference USA.
Tip-off from the Mack Sports Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Hofstra and Delaware have met 103 times on the hardwood. The Pride leads the all-time series with Delaware, 69-34. Hofstra has won eight straight, 15 of the last 17 and 21 of the 24 meetings dating back to the 2014-15 season. The 103 meetings is first by a narrow margin as Hofstra and Drexel met for the 100th time on Monday.

The game will serve as Kellenberg Academic Excellence Night and Kings Park Youth Basketball Night.

Hofstra is 10-9 this year and brings a 2-4 CAA record into Thursday's meeting. The Pride has a busy week as starting with Monday's 60-55 loss at Drexel, Hofstra will play three games in six days including Saturday's contest against Campbell. In the game against the Dragons,
Jean Aranguren had 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, while
Michael Graham added eight points and 13 rebounds.
Delaware is 11-8 overall and 4-2 in conference play following a 79-77 win over Elon last Saturday. The Blue Hens have won two straight and four of their last five games. John Camden had 28 points for Delaware against Elon, while Niels Lane added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
