Philadelphia, PA - Despite a solid outing from
Michael Graham, who tallied eight points and 13 rebounds, the Hofstra men's basketball team dropped a 60-55 decision at Drexel on Monday afternoon.
Jean Aranguren led the Pride with 14 points and added seven rebounds and five assists.
The loss dropped Hofstra to 10-9 and 2-4 in the CAA. Drexel moved to 11-8 and 3-3 in league play. Today's game marked the 100th all-time meeting between the programs.
Hofstra shot nearly 55% in the opening stanza to take an 11-point lead into the break. It was also the Pride's defense that was solid as Drexel shot only 36% in the first half
The Dragons would turn the table in the final 20 minutes, though, as Drexel held the Pride to only 18 points after the break in rally for the narrow win.
Cruz Davis chipped in with 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists for the Pride, which also got seven points and three assists from
TJ Gadsden.
Cole Hargrove tallied 15 points and nine rebounds to ad the Dragons. Yame Butler added 14 points and eight rebounds for Drexel.

- Hofstra leads the all-time series with Drexel, 51-49. Drexel is one of only two opponents that Hofstra has met at least 100 times (Delaware - 103).
- Graham reached double figures in rebounds for the sixth time this season.
- Aranguren reached double figures in scoring for the 15th time this season and Davis tallied double figures for the 10th time in 2024-25.
