Constanza Perez Sain had a match-high 13 kills and
Yagmur Cinel posted 10 kills to lead the Hofstra volleyball team to a three-set sweep of Hampton on Friday evening at the David S. Mack Physical Education Center.
Ellie Pamatat added 34 assists and eight digs for Hofstra, which evened its record at 6-6 overall and moved to 2-1 in CAA play. Hampton dropped to 0-14 and 0-3 in the league. Set scores were 25-12, 25-15, and 25-16.
The Pride hit at a .378 clip in the match, Hofstra's highest attack percentage of the season, en route to the three-set sweep. Hofstra was also strong defensively as they held Hampton to a .080 attack percentage, the second-lowest of any Pride opponent this season.
Chiara Cucco had a match-high 16 digs in the contest, while
Clara Bal added eight kills for the Pride.
Madison Clark led Hampton with six kills, while Ida Wiszomirska had 15 assists and six digs for the Lady Pirates.
Hofstra and Hampton will conclude the two-match series tomorrow at 1 p.m.

- Hofstra is now 3-0 all-time against Hampton.
- Cucco is one dig shy of third place all-time in Hofstra history. She now has 1,544 career digs. Len Malinowski had 1,545 career digs from 1994 to 1998.
