Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra volleyball team will host Hampton this week in its first home CAA matches of the season. 

The Pride and the Pirates will meet on Friday at 6 p.m. before concluding the weekend with a 1 p.m. match on Saturday. The matches will be played in the Mack Physical Education Building and admission is free of charge to all Pride volleyball matches. 

Both contests will air on FloVolleyball and WRHU will have an audio-only broadcast available on the HAWC. Links to both, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the volleyball schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

The Pride is 5-6 overall and 1-1 in CAA play following a split of its opening weekend in the conference at Stony Brook. Hofstra dropped Friday's match but rebounded and earned a four-set win over the Seawolves on Saturday night. 

Hampton enters this weekend looking for its first win of the season as the Pirates are 0-13 overall and 0-2 in CAA action. They most recently dropped a pair of home matches to North Carolina A&T to open conference play. 

Hofstra is 2-0 all-time against Hampton as the Pride won a pair of matches during the 2022 season. One of the victories was in straight sets and the other came in four sets.
